Joy To The Earth
“Joy To The Earth”
So many experiences, sacred and mundane in the heart of The American SouthWest. My fascination with archeological finds, ancient culture and their connection to our Earth all make for a life changing path while in Canyon De Chelly a few years ago. This land speaks to me. I can feel its voice from the bottom of my feet to the expansion in my heart. The song so true reverberates like an ancient drum beat whispering it’s secrets. Here I feel joy, deep joy. Walking and wondering in Native land it awakes my own Shamanic dreaming. Merging with stories from people who spontaneously appear and share their lives in Hogan’s, canyons and cafes. It awakens a profound desire to dive deep into revelry. For four years I immersed myself in Shamanic studies with The Foundation of Shamanic Studies attending weeks of Retreat experiential work under guides who go further than can be imagined. My love for our Gaia became a blossoming flower rooted far into the Chrystal core of the earth.
I notice many changes in myself, like today, while bedding plants for the winter I catch myself deep in conversation with earth worms, roots of a plant I am transferring and bulbs I dig into fresh turned mulch. The tiny fairy flys about me play in the sunlight. Their life a whisper in length to ours. Little wings that move with an agility. My friends are all these beings about me, my garden, we care for each other.
Yes such joy to the earth!
